2007-08 annual report

The LDA had undergone a huge transformation and I needed to transmit a clear message that the new organisation was moving with the times, and focussing on the things that matter most to Londoners now.

London: A better city for everyone

As we enter a time of international economic uncertainty, the way London faces the challenges of our changing world becomes ever more critical. The election of a new Mayor gave us the opportunity to re-examine our priorities and develop a more appropriate strategy for the times. The appointment of a new LDA Board enabled us to introduce new people highly qualified to tackle and advise on today’s particular issues. The LDA is set on a new path, and is committed to investing its time, its energy and its financial resources into building London: a better city for everyone.
